SiLoC offers a robust solution to eliminate human errors in silo-loading operations. By integrating SiLoC into your facility’s procurement and delivery processes, you ensure that materials are always loaded into the correct silo.

The process begins with your procurement software generating a purchase order that includes a unique barcode linked to the correct silo. The material supplier then includes this barcode on the delivery package, which is carried by the truck driver to your facility. Each silo’s loading point is secured with an industry-grade captive key lock, ensuring it cannot be overridden by common tools. Upon arrival, the truck driver scans the barcode at the SiLoC key cabinet, which releases the key for the corresponding silo. The truck driver then uses this key to unlock the correct silo, ensuring precise and safe loading operations.

The SiLoC package includes captive keys for each silo’s loading points, with each silo equipped with a captive key lock and a unique key. A SiLoC key cabinet is provided, containing Sofis electrical key positions, with one position per silo.

The barcodes are pre-programmed for use with SiLoC, streamlining the loading process:

1. A purchase order is issued with a machine-readable code, which is copied to the bill of lading by the supplier;
2. A delivery truck arrives at the facility, carrying this bill of lading;
3. The machine-readable code is scanned, and one key is released from the cabinet;
4. This key is handed over to the driver;
5. At the loading station, all loading points are locked closed in their default state;
6. The key only allows access to the correct loading point
